Movie Review: The Perfect Match

The Perfect Match is a 2016 American romantic comedy film directed by Bille Woodruff. The film was written by Dana Verde, Brandon Broussard and Gary Hardwick, and stars Terrence J, Cassie Ventura, Lauren London and Paula Patton. Queen Latifah is an executive producer on the film. It was released on March 11, 2016.

Charlie (Terrance J) is the typical playboy who doesn't believe in relationships. His best friends bet him that if he sticks to one woman for one month, he's bound to fall in love. Charlie takes the bet because he believes that he's immune to love, until he meets Eva played by Cassie. She on the other hand says upfront that wants no strings attached and doesn't want a serious relationship. As time goes by, Charlie finally allows himself to stick to one girl and finds himself in love with her but she had a different point of view. This movie was cool. I personally don't consider this one of my favs but it was good. It reminds you that you can't change someone who doesn't want to change, I personally been there. Don't get caught up in what you want, listen to what the other person is saying and believe them. When two people have different goals, the only outcome is one person will be heartbroken. The title perfect match was used in my opinion to explain that a perfect match means that two people with same goals and intentions.... That's a perfect match. I enjoyed the ending of the movie because it's not what anyone expected like most movies.
