#JoWears: Hippie in the City

Another day another brunch. Summer is here so in the city of New York most birthday celebrations there's always a brunch and a day party. This outfit was the perfect outfit for such a eventful day. Yesterday I work this white and grey tye dye print two piece matching pant and top from Forever 21 R by Raga! I loved the outfit and the moment I purchased I knew it would work perfect for some day time activities. The polyester material is light and easy to wear. They had different style matching tops if you aren't a fan of the one I have and shorts! The pant comes high waist and has one split on each leg sometimes give the illusion that it's a dress but also allowing space the dance the night away it. This set sparked my inner disco fever, so right away I had to pair it with my open toe silver and dark grey heels from Steve Madden! For my face I must add that at first I was gonna rock red lipstick but when I put the entire look together I opt out because it was too busy. So I went with a soft brown lip gloss which to me made the look last character/custom-ish. You never really want to look like you are playing a part in a movie. Everyday fashion is the goal ! Of course I wore this outfit on a day that it was a bit chilly so I had to throw on something to keep me from crying. Without much thought I believed the mustard yellow jacket from Zara would brighten up the look and add more just enough funk. For my Accesories I kept it simple with soft silver jewelry and like a body chain necklace that I got from forever 21 as well. I purchased my glasses from Amazon. At first I hated them it's not what I was looking for but I never returned them the retailer let me get a refund with out returning, as I Walked out I thought hey let me see if I can actually do it. And I like it. They are bit cocky but that's what I needed and I liked it. Lastly many people having been asking me where I got my hair and what it is, it's from Hair Are Us and it's the Brazilian curly wefted hair. I love this hair so easy to manage.
