PunkRock Dress

I am such the tomboy. I rather sneakers than heels and sweats instead of dress. So when I do wear a dress, I always want to down play so it can remain casual and relaxed instead of feeling uncomfortable and out of place. I got this dress from H&M. I usually wear a size small. But for some reason, this dress isn't the skin tight bodycon fitting, it is actually quite loose but still hugs curves in a way that it still accents your body. I love this dress, I actually wore it many times the past few months. The long sleeves allows me to be able to wear it to work or any sophiscsted event etc. The length is not too long to give you that typical summer dress but perfect enough to show a little leg, and to pair with a bootie like I did in the photos below. I also paired this dress with a dark burgundy bootie same tie up thicker heel styled boot. I am not a fan of heels as I mentioned earlier so this season I purchased many booties with thick heels. They are so comfortable and fun definitely a bigger trend lately. I got these boots from a random shoe boutique on 14th st in NYC between 5th and 6th. They got great deals, I got these for a steal! To top the look off and put some of my edgy flavor to it I wore my longer above the ankle socks which to me tied everything in. I love the material of the dress and the peekaboo stripes details. Topping this dress with the leather jacket  from H&M as well gives me "NY girl on the go". I love it! It pulls the look together.
